Update

I know some of you wanted to hear about my interview so....it went really well and they said that I did a great job! I unfortunately didn't get the position this time, but they were very impressed with me and said that they may have another English teaching position opening and they hope that I will still consider coming to work at Northridge if that happens!! So basically I took second in the interview and they still want me to work for them, but they don't have another opening right now.
My parents told me that it was unreal that I even got the interview in the first place because (1) I don't officially have my degree, (2) I am not accepted into the ARL program through the state. This program is the way I will get licensed to teach. And (3) I haven't had an interview with the school district yet. I guess you have to interview with them before you are supposed to interview at schools for teaching jobs. So for me even to have had the interview was a bonus! It definitely gave me some good experience and I know what to expect for my next interview.

GRADUATION!!!!

Well, it is official that I will be graduating from Weber State this week!! I am really excited that I have done it! Looking back I can't believe that I made it through! I don't really think the school part of it all was the most challenging. I think balancing school, being a mom and a wife, and all the other things that go along with life, were the most difficult part. Some semesters were more difficult than others because of life situations that were going on! While I was pregnant with Bostyn was definitely a challenge. I didn't like stopping in the bathroom to throw-up before taking my finals:( It was also really difficult to go back to school after Bostyn was born. He was only 5 weeks old when I started back again! This last semester was by far the easiest one I have had. I only had one class to endure--and it was an intersting class, so it went by real quickly! I'm really proud of myself for sticking it out through the rough times. The way I look at things is that time will pass no matter what I choose to do. In 5 years it will still be 5 years from now....so if I want to change how things are now, then I better do something about it! Making changes in life sometimes seems hard when you look at the huge picture of everything, but when you take it step by step, it is amazing the things you can accomplish that you never thought possible!!
