Short-Lived and Home!

Well, my soccer experience was a short-lived thing. I have plantar ficitis on both of my feet. There is a tendon that runs along the bottom of our feet from the heel to the toes, and somehow I have over extended it on both feet. I actually first injured it about 3 months ago doing an aerobics class at the gym. I know it sounds pathetic, but I am really uncordinated and apparently very accident prone. Anyway, in the first game I thought I twisted my ankle, but it turned out to be the same thing...so I decided to go to a Podiatrist this time, and he knew exactly what was wrong with me. I wish I could play soccer right now, but oh well, as long as I can take care of the boys then that's all that matters.

New House!!

Dave and I are finally going to be getting a HOME!! We are really excited to get our first place! However, I will be more excited when it actually goes through. We have looked at homes for years and we have made many offers that haven't worked out! I can't even remember all the homes we have made offers on, but in the past year we have made an offer on 3 different homes! I think with all the offers together we are around 8-10 homes in 3 years! That is crazy!! We have had inspections done on homes before after offers have been accepted and then things have fallen through...so I probably shouldn't even be posting this until we have the keys to our home in my hands, but I really think this time it will go through!

The house is in Layton, in the Chelsie Park neighborhood which is out by Swan Lakes Golf Course. It is a really cute area and there is a park that is 2 blocks away from the house. We won't be moving in until August, but I think the timing will work out great for us. It will give us time to pay off my student loan and save up for some new couches that we sooo desperately need!!
I will post pics of the house later!
